Saffron is known as the world's most expensive spice due to the high amount of labor required to produce the spice from the plant itself. Using saffron in food will have the same effects as a supplement, but it can be very difficult to accurately dose it when used this way, so it's generally recommended to use a standardized extract instead. Double Wood's Saffron is a standardized extract with a 0.3% Safranal content.
As a mood enhancer, take 1 capsule daily on an empty stomach. To control appetite, take 1-2 capsules daily on an empty stomach. It is strongly recommended not to exceed 2 capsules daily, as saffron can cause adverse side effects in high doses.

It is generally recommended to use Saffron in cycles, meaning it should not be used continuously for more than 8 weeks and it is recommended to take a 2-week break after using it daily for 8 weeks.
